Why Polaroid Photos are a MUST at your wedding in Portugal

A few years ago, Polaroid Photos made a comeback. Some attribute it to sheer nostalgia – after all, the 90s were all about fun, grunge and raves. But it’s not just that. In an age when printing photos sounds almost like a foreign concept, Polaroids have become a quirkiness, a niche. Only one thing is absolutely sure: whatever the reason, Polaroid Photos are back in style.
During your wedding, you want everyone to have a good time. And trust us when we say Polaroid cameras really are a game-changer. Everybody loves to hold the camera, focus, click and, tcharan, photo ready to print! Each and every one of your wedding guests will want their turn.
Friends will catch each other making faces, reminisce about old times… Or ask us to take a group photo when they realize Polaroid cameras don’t have an auto-timer. (Which is absolutely okay, and we are more than happy to do so! In fact, you’ll always have a photographer around to help you sort things out).
In the end, everyone will have a photo with a classic white background. They can make it truly old-school by using a marker to write the date and the occasion. It will be a cute souvenir of a special day they spent with friends and family – and it’s this imagery that we keep of Polaroid photos that makes them just as romantic as the wedding itself. You can be sure it won’t simply end up in the bottom of a drawer somewhere. Photographer’s honour.

Wedding receptions are often an excuse to get everyone together, laughing and having fun. Especially when we’re talking about a destination wedding in Portugal: all the worries stay safely back home, and no one is driving afterwards. So a little bit of nostalgia is allowed… plus, Polaroid pictures really are the stuff of 90’s rom-coms!
